Mission Statement
Building Community in Christ; Serving Christ in Community.

St. Paul Church, a congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, is a vibrant, thriving, community of faith in which worship has a central place, learning opportunities actively engage everyone, servant ministries witness boldly, ministries of hospitality enthusiastically invite and welcome, generous and wise giving is a grateful response, praying never ceases and encouragement is offered freely. The people of St. Paul Church stand with arms wide to welcome and serve you, and walk with you along the journey of faith.

Welcome to Saint Paul Church!

You are invited to come and worship and explore life in community at St. Paul Church!

If you are new to the Christian faith we stand ready to help you in your searching and in your journey toward understanding.

People who wish to more fully participate in the ministry of St. Paul Church as members are invited to join a “Welcome to the Church” series offered two to three times during the year. This five session series offers a glimpse of the central claims of the faith and discussion over the role of the church and our calling to be disciples. Pastor Swenson leads these sessions which are held on Sunday mornings during the 9:35 Learning Hour.

New members are heartily encouraged and expected to participate fully in the life of the congregation. We join together as partners to fulfill our calling to “make Christ known,” each contributing his/her own gifts and skills God has given in order to enrich the lives of others and to praise God.

If you have an interest in learning about the Christian faith or about participating more fully in this community of faith, please call Pastor Swenson (860-388-2398).
